A perfect Valentine's Day present for us was the installation of our Absolute Black granite kitchen countertops!
 The big granite island, which we are also calling our "buffet table", actually ended up 30% longer than our original design because we chose to add another large drawer stack underneath.

The electricians are working inside the house now, mounting and wiring the numerous light fixtures. Here are a few examples, this one in our breakfast nook:

 The plumbers are here too working on things like sinks, commodes, faucets, etc.
 Our basement fireplace is also nearing completion:
