Time for placing the footings in the basement. Having a full, finished basement (about 2000 square feet) is important to us since we plan to spend a lot of time there.

After the footings are in it is time to put the panels in place (in preparation to pour the basement's concrete perimeter walls). In this case the panels have just been unloaded and are not in position yet. Mommy and Elise stopped by at the job site for an early evening pose.

All the panels have now been put in place - ready for pouring.

And just like that - we have basement walls!
